Your syllabus, on our shelves.
Every auxiliary in the UK has the same problem: a print run arrives, it lives in somebody's garage, and for the rest of the year a Nazim Ta'lim in Glasgow is asking a Nazim in Morden to post them thirty copies. We already run a warehouse, a picking operation, a checkout and four collection counters. Use them.
What we do with your stock
You deliver the pallet
Send the print run straight from the printer to Baitul Ehsan. We book it in, count it, and give you a stock figure the same day.
We list it
Your titles get a page on ishaat.org under your own organisation's shelf, with your cover, your description and a price you set.
We pick, pack and post
Orders are picked with everything else going out that day. Members can also collect from any of our four counters at no cost to you.
You see the numbers
A monthly statement: what sold, what is left, and what to reprint. Stock stays yours throughout — we hold it, we do not buy it.
What it costs
| Storage | Free for AMA UK auxiliaries, up to two pallets per organisation. |
|---|---|
| Handling | £0.60 per order picked and packed, at cost. |
| Postage | At the Royal Mail rate we pay, passed through with no mark-up. |
| Listing | Nothing. We build the pages. |
| Click & Collect | Nothing. |
| Settlement | Monthly, by BACS, against a statement you can check line by line. |
Ishaat is not-for-profit. These figures cover what the operation actually costs us; we are not trying to make a margin on the auxiliaries.
Already on the shelves
A worked example of what this looks like in practice: syllabus material and periodicals from the four auxiliaries, listed alongside everything else and ordered in the same basket. If you run an Ishaat department, this is roughly what your section would look like.

If you are a Secretary or Nazim Ishaat for a national auxiliary, or a local Jama'at with a print run you cannot house, write to warehouse@ishaat.org or ring 020 8687 1451 and ask for the warehouse. Tell us what the titles are, how many you are printing, and when the pallet lands.
We can normally take a new organisation's stock within a fortnight, and have the pages live the week after.
